Our facility is GMP-certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) — an independent, internationally recognized safety-science organization. The UL audit reviews our quality management system, personnel training, sanitation, equipment qualification, batch records, and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) program.
21 CFR Part 111 is the FDA's binding Current Good Manufacturing Practice regulation for dietary supplements. It governs how supplements must be manufactured, packaged, labeled, and held.
LeafVenturesLV is registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as a dietary supplement manufacturing facility under DSHEA. Registration is renewed on the FDA's biennial cycle.
A Certificate of Analysis is generated for every production run and retained in the batch record. COAs document identity, potency, and contaminant testing appropriate to the finished product specification.
For identity, potency, and contaminant panels that exceed our in-house scope, we use qualified third-party laboratories. Test methods are selected based on the ingredient profile and finished-good specification.
